At-Home Workout Must-Haves  

If your gym has been closed or is closing again, you may find yourself struggling to find at home workout inspiration. Having the right gear can make a huge difference in both your motivation level and can unlock a huge new range of at-home workout ideas! With some extra equipment, home workouts can be just as effective as those you would have done in the gym with the added benefit of being able to work out on your own schedule. Yoga Mat

The classic yoga mat can be used for so much more than just yoga! Using your mat as a soft cushion to land on during HIIT workouts is a great way to ensure that you’re not stressing your joints by landing on firm hardwood or slippery carpet. Try looking for an extra thick mat like this one to use for a variety of workouts like aerobics, HIIT, and of course, yoga.


Resistance Bands

Resistance bands are an awesome, versatile equipment option that is perfect for at-home workouts. Not only are they inexpensive, but they can also probably be found during your next Walmart or Target run. Try using looped resistance bands for low-impact toning and stretching in moves like clamshells, glute bridges, and lateral lunges.
